 Please note:  Dove Chapel of Gainesville has no affilliation with Dove World Outreach Center in Florida.  Dove Chapel of Gainesville is a fully independent non-denominational church with close ties to the Calvary Chapel's in the North Texas Region. 

At Dove Chapel of Gainesville, we desire to stay true to the word of God. Peter said it well for us as we have been saved from the corruption that is in the world only by the grace and mercy of our dear Lord and Savior. Because of the great and precious promises that God has given us we seek to give all diligence, and to our faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 2 Peter 1:5-7

 We are a non-denominational Holy Spirit led full bible church.

 Having seen the example of the early church as laid out in the Book of Acts, we desire to duplicate as closely as possible that biblical picture that is the body of Christ and His bride.

 The foundation of ministry that Jesus set forth in the Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John lays the blueprint to Christian activity. Jesus encouraged the church to follow his example in all things. He encouraged them to go out and share the faith, heal the sick and cast out spirits. We see in the Gospel words that the power for all ministry comes through and by the Holy Spirit. So we desire to live the example set before us by Jesus who Himself was filled for ministry by the Holy Spirit.

 The bible is jam packed with humble men and women of God coming to the place of worship: exalting the King, bowing down humbly before the Lord, offering songs of praise and sacrifice of self to follow the will of the Lord. Our hope is that we will be transformed by the Lord that these practices become our way of life as it was for the early church.

 In summary, we hope to be a place where people come together and grow together for the purpose of bringing glory and honor to our dear Lord. We do it by loving the Lord together and allowing Him to renew our minds that we will love one another with His unconditional love. We want to be His hands and feet to reach the lost, heal the sick and bring hope of the Kingdom and revival in Gainesville and the surrounding areas.
